Over the last two days, I’ve been to two books signings: The Writers Place and the Books in the Bottoms.
Friday night (3/6/2020), I attended the first annual reading and book signing at the new Writers Place in Kansas City. Five authors, including myself, read from their works and everyone had a great time.
Then, for the second year running today, I went to the Books in the Bottoms celebration. The program, now in its fifth year, celebrates local authors at some of the shops and businesses in the historic West Bottoms district of KC. I setup shop in Chef J’s BBQ and met a lot of great people and sold several books. They even gave me some of their BBQ ribs and sausage to take home. It was awesome!
